Attention high school DotA 2 players! Gather your classmates, form a team, and represent your school in the High School Starleague Season []!

We are proud to announce DotA 2 as our newest game in HSL! DotA 2 is an online MOBA experience. Created as a sequel to DotA (Defense of the Ancients) and developed by Valve Corporation, it has gained huge support at both the casual and competitive level as a free to play game available on Steam. As always, the HSL aims to advance eSports as a positive high school experience, and DotA 2 fits right into that goal.

Teams are to be formed of a minimum of 5 players, with an optional addition of up to 2 substitutes. Rosters can be modified or swapped out at any point during the round robin, if necessary. We emphasize that all players be from the same school; however, for any special exceptions, you can contact dota2@hsstarleague.com and ask for additional information. We encourage players of all skill levels to join the tournament, as we are experimenting with both casual and competitive divisions for teams.

This competition is open to both NA and EU students. Registrations close on 8/1/13 at 12:00 AM PST, so be sure to register before the deadline!
